Description of resource: The 295-bed Caritas Norwood Hospital is an acute care facility and a part of Caritas Christ Health Care. Many departments provide end-of-life support to patients and their families, most notably, the spiritual care department, the nursing staff, and the social work department. The hospital also has an active ethics committee, which provides information, education and support services to patients, families, and staff.
