Description of resource: Anna Jaques Hospital is a 120 bed, not for profit, acute care hospital located in Newburyport, MA. Anna Jaques Hospital services the Newburyport, Merrimack Valley and Southern New Hampshire areas, providing inpatient hospice care and an outpatient oncology clinic. Our inpatient and outpatient staff are experienced in providing support and comfort with end of life care and our case management staff are trained in providing counseling and resources to patients and family.

AJH also conducts an educational series on Advance Care Planning; contact Rosemary Crawford at 978-463-1231 for information on the dates and times of upcoming sessions.

Additionally, AJH advocates for patients and families with end of life care needs through an interdisciplinary end of life team composed of members from AJH’s staff and community hospice programs.
