Description of resource: As an Aging Service Access Point, Montachusett Home Care Corporation seeks to help elders remain at home in comfort and dignity despite significant physical limitations. A range of service options such as personal care, housework, day programs, minor home adaptations and assistive devices are available to eligible elders. Caregiver support and respite are available to those caring for a sick loved one. Other services and programs include: Protective Services, Nursing Home Ombudsman services, a widowhood support group, assistance with money management, and housing alternatives.
